Direct Torque Control,
DTC, is a revolutionary motor control method for AC Drives which allows accurate control
of both motor speed and torque without pulse encoder feedback from the motor shaft.
ACS 600 was the first commercial product with DTC.
Since the launch in 1995 hundreds of thousands of ACS 600 & ACS 800 drives with DTC have been delivered. DTC
technology is also at the heart of the ACS 1000.
